The other choir I sing with, Vancouver’s multiple award-winning Christ Church Cathedral Choir is headed to Penticton to sing a concert in support of Habitat for Humanity South Okanagan! We’ll be posting regularly to the choir’s Facebook Page and to the choir’s Twitter feed.
We’ll be singing our concert on Friday, July 2, and also singing for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday morning Eucharist at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church.
Our tour programme is called A Choir For All Seasons and features the following repertoire, which spans the entire church year:
- Agneau de Dieu – Rupert Lang
- Agnus Dei – Paul Halley
- Aston – Alleluia Psallat– Peter Aston
- Crucifixus – Lotti
- Esto les Digo – Kinley Lange
- Gaudeamus – William Byrd
- HYAMLC
- Litany – Stephen Wright
- Love Is – Rupert Lang
- Lux Arumque – Eric Whitacre
- Clap your hands – Orlando Gibbons
- Panis Angelicus – Pierre Villette

- Shall I Mother, Shall I? – Paul Brandvik
- Sound the Trumpet – Henry Purcell

As you can see, it’s a wide-ranging programme full of fabulous music! (And what’s that “HYAMLC”, you ask? You’ll have to attend to find out!)
